We’re excited to announce that Zorro has secured $20M in Series A funding, led by Entrée Capital with continuing participation from 10D and Pitango.

This funding is more than just a financial milestone for us—it’s a signal that the healthcare benefits industry is evolving and our team of driven, passionate, and unswervingly optimistic disruptors is leading the charge. What’s more, it’s validation of the work we’ve done to build the most advanced ICHRA platform on the planet, powered by AI and designed to support the full health-to-wealth journey.

Our technology is already helping brokers, employers, and employees unlock better decisions, better coverage, and better outcomes. We’re incredibly proud to be at the forefront of this shift, and even prouder that our growth lifts the entire industry along the way.

We built Zorro with one goal in mind: to help brokers, employers, and employees seamlessly break free from the one-size-fits-all approach to group health insurance by leveraging the best tech available. Today, we’ve done just that. 

By combining the flexibility of ICHRA, the power of AI, and a people-first approach, Zorro’s powerful platform helps brokers anticipate their clients’ needs and support them effectively. At the same time, it enables employers to design and optimize benefits that meet business needs, and supports employees as they make smarter decisions about their coverage.

And it’s working: 

• Over 75% of employees choose a plan based on our platform’s AI-driven recommendations—without any human intervention.
• Employees choose from a wide range of plan types, including HMO (38%), EPO (31%), and PPO (28%).
• Employers see significant savings while still being generous—75% of employee premiums are covered in full or nearly in full by their employers.

With this new funding, we’re excited to scale even faster: building new tools to support our brokers, employers, and employees, supporting more enrollments, driving continued customer success, and expanding our platform to cover the entire health-to-wealth journey.
